What a fantastic four weeks we had with the Learn Italian in Lecce program. Beautiful city, great language school challenged my brain by immersing me in the language and surrounding me with encouragement and highly skilled teaching. On top of this we were treated to cooking at the cooking school, trips to local towns, going to the local footy game with some crazy fans! Dancing and singing with the pizzica performers, fabulous food and wine and more. Raff and Janet were the consummate hosts, nothing was too difficult. Raff’s passion for the language and culture drives his commitment to making sure his students experience the best that Lecce and Puglia has to offer. Thanks Raff!

Lecce is a pretty and unique town, just right for learning the language and settling into the culture. The course was run by excellent teachers, good class sizes and a great range of learning approaches. The cultural activities were varied and engaging - Gianna's cooking class a particular highlight. Raffaele our guide was incredibly helpful, not to mention well-connected! Best coffee? No worries. Best gelato? Got it. Local pizzica dance class at the drop of a hat? We're in. Do this trip, if at all you can. I plan to – again.
