2021 tours cancelled

As a result of the continuing risks from COVID-19, the Learn Italian in Lecce tour in September and the Learn Italian in Cagliari tour in October will not go ahead. Italy has opened up for the northern summer and while they’re making good progress in controlling COVID-19, the on-going risks are simply too high.
We will return when at least 75% of Italy’s population is fully vaccinated when scientists tell us herd immunity really starts to take effect. As of 7 June, Italy had only fully vaccinated 25% of its people and is expected to reach 75% by September or October. I’m optimistic that we’ll be able to return in 2022 with the first trip in May.
